Internships and Independent Studies are Independent Campus programs organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture. There are partners in various fields who are involved in it, especially in certified independent studies, there are the Export School and Lacorre. Both partners focus on export activities, all students who take part in the program are given learning about mechanisms, regulations, provisions, and export product development. The difference between the two is in the type of export product, Lacorre focuses on fashion products ranging from apparel, modest, footwear, handbags, to jewelry & others, while the products at the Export School are other than fashion products.
The MSIB program was followed for one semester and the program closed in December. Apart from the farewell, the best participants from the Export School and Lacorre partners were also announced, with 5 students each selected. A student from the Department of Business Administration at UPN Veteran Yogyakarta named M. Wahyu Sobirin who took part in the SI program at the Export School and Ririn Yusriyah in Lacorre was selected as the best student and received a scholarship in the form of Batch 5 International Export Trips. This batch was held in a neighboring country , namely Malaysia, Singapore and Batam.

To be precise, on January 22-25 2024, JJE International will be held. This activity was attended by students from all regions of Indonesia consisting of outstanding students, students who passed the top 5 ESM selection, Export School Principals, Export & Lacorre School mentors, and assistant mentors. On the first day from Soekarno Hatta International Airport to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. During his two days in this neighboring country, he visited several places to find out about products and potential export markets. Among other things, Bukit Bintang, there the participants were given the freedom to travel around and research the products there to use as references as potential export products. On the second day of visiting the Petronas Tower, the participants chatted casually and the finalists in the ESM competition took videos of their product presentations. This ESM competition is held in each batch by the Export School/Lacorre to foster a competitive spirit, a means of selecting participants with the best product preparation, as well as a filtration of the best products with export potential owned by SI participants. Amazingly, a student from the Department of Business Administration named M. Wahyu Sobirin was one of the participants with a furniture product called Paranyaman.
The group visited the Indonesian Embassy in Malaysia, was welcomed by the diaspora there and gained knowledge about college scholarships in Malaysia, various employment problems there, and superior products from Indonesia which are exported to Malaysia. After that, visiting one of the universities in Malaysia, namely Putra Malaysia University, where the development of the Malaysian economy in recent years was explained and benchmarking with other countries including Indonesia. Getting a new sign that Indonesia has extraordinary potential to become a developed country in the future.

On the third day, travel from the Johor Bahru area, Malaysia to Singapore by land route using a bus. Arriving in Singapore, the group headed to the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore, greeted by the Coordinator for Economic Affairs who explained the potential for Indonesian exports in Singapore. He also said that the presence of the diaspora abroad should be maximized as a liaison between exporters and buyers. There the participants carried out Business Matching with entrepreneurs in Singapore. Also visit Orchad Road and after that continue the journey to Batam, traveling via sea by ferry.

The final day in the series of JJE International events began with the first visit in Batam to the Batam State Polytechnic, to be precise at the Faculty of Business Economics. After that, visit the last place of visit and as the last series of events on this trip, visit the Batam Business Board which is the manager and liaison for investors who are interested in investing their capital in Batam. After that, the group headed to Hang Nadim Airport, Batam and returned to Jakarta on January 25 2024 in the evening.
