Business Talk “How to Start Up Your Business in the Millennial Culture Era” by PH-Humanis Entrepreneurship Field

On Saturday, September 30, 2023, PH-HUMANIS conducted the Business Talk 2023 program at the Seminar FISIP UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta Campus II. Business Talk 2023 was the final program carried out by the Entrepreneurship Division. The purpose of Business Talk was to motivate students majoring in Business Administration to start their own businesses in the current millennial era. This objective aligns with the theme of the event, which was “How to Start Up Your Business with Millennial Culture Era.”

Business Talk 2023 featured two speakers, one from internal sources and one from external sources. From the internal side, Business Talk 2023 invited Dr. Humam Santoso Utomo, S.Sos., M.A.B., who is a lecturer in Business Administration. From the external side, Business Talk 2023 invited Eriyanto Eko Seputro, S.E., the owner of a well-known bakery in East Java, Papa Cookies.

The number of participants in Business Talk has shown significant improvement from year to year, particularly in Business Talk 2023, where we had over 100 participants. This increase gives us confidence that many students are curious about how to build a business, the challenges they might face, and how to recover from a business that is on the brink of failure. It was truly gratifying for the organizing committee to see such enthusiastic engagement from the attendees during the Business Talk 2023 program.

Of course, no event is without its challenges, but for us, as the organizing committee, we were able to support each other through any obstacles that arose. The high level of enthusiasm displayed by the participants during the Q&A sessions and the ice-breaking activities reassured us that our efforts in organizing the event were not in vain. We hope that the insights shared by the two speakers at Business Talk 2023 can be well understood and put into practice by the participants, ultimately benefiting them in their entrepreneurial journeys.
