“Brainstorming Session” is one of the work programs of the External Division, which is held three times. This activity is attended by the Commanders of each level, the General Secretaries of each generation from 2018 to 2022, Department Heads, Department Secretaries, PH-HUMANIS Advocacy, and representatives from student organizations within the Department of Business Administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The theme of this brainstorming session is “Brainstorm One Goal To Develop Business Administration Students To Be Better In The Future.” The purpose of this activity is to provide a platform for students of Business Administration at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta to express their aspirations and grievances, covering academic matters, campus facilities, thesis issues, generational problems, and other concerns. The hope is that solutions to these issues can be found through the event. Therefore, the External Division of PH-HUMANIS initiated the Brainstorming Session work program, which has been held three times as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Saturday (18\/03\/2023), PH-HUMANIS conducted the first brainstorming session. The event took place in Room Agus Salim Dasar 8 at Campus 2, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta. This event was attended by the General Secretaries and Commanders of each generation, ranging from 2018 to 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It began with the opening remarks by the organizing committee, followed by speeches, and then the core event, which was the presentation of the grievances and aspirations of each generation. Some of the key points discussed during this session were as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Difficulty in meeting thesis advisors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Inadequate departmental chairs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Unfulfilled campus cafeteria plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Recurring issues with the Course Registration System (KRS).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Insufficient classroom capacity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Non-functioning toilet facilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Tuition fees (UKT) focused solely on thesis.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    These concerns and aspirations were initially collected and were scheduled to be discussed during the second brainstorming session (Temu Pikir II). Relevant parties who could provide answers and engage in discussions regarding these matters would be invited to the second session. The event was then concluded with a group photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On Saturday (17\/06\/2023), the second brainstorming session (Temu Pikir II) took place in the Marketing Laboratory at Campus 2, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta. It was attended by the Commanders of each generation, General Secretaries, PH-HUMANIS Advocacy, the Head and Secretary of the Department of Business Administration, and student organization representatives within the Department of Business Administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    During Temu Pikir II, the discussion revolved around the grievances and aspirations expressed during Temu Pikir I. Relevant parties who could assist in addressing and resolving the issues raised during Temu Pikir I were invited. The event commenced with opening remarks, speeches, and a Q&A session with participants directed toward the Head of the Department, the Department Secretary, and PH-HUMANIS Advocacy. It concluded with a group photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    On Tuesday (12\/09\/2023), the third brainstorming session (Temu Pikir III) took place, focusing on creating content that summarized the outcomes of Temu Pikir I and II. This content highlighted the realized facilities, such as the functioning elevator, completed campus cafeteria, operational toilet facilities, and other improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In addition to creating content during Temu Pikir III, a survey was conducted to assess the work programs of PH-HUMANIS during the 2023 period. The results of the Brainstorming Session work program suggest that it has been effective and contributed positively to the improvement of facilities and academic activities.
